What is a sitemap?

A sitemap is a list of pages of a web site. There are three primary kinds of site map: Site maps used during the planning of a Web site by its designers. Human-visible listings, typically hierarchical, of the pages on a site. Structured listings intended for web crawlers such as search engines.

Since a sitemap regroups all the collection of article links in a website, we can then create a unique page with a script to pull up all these article links. By doing this, a visitor landing on this sitemap page will be able to easily navigate all the different articles on your site.

sitemap #1 code demo

In the code above, change the last script source URL part "YOUR_Blogger_Site_URL" to that of your site URL. For example, in my case, it will be www.bloggercustomiz.com.

Code #2:

Loading....

For the second sitemap code, change the URL www.bloggercustomiz.com to that of your blog.

Note:

You sitemap page won't look exactly like the one we have here, but it should have all your site's post listed as you see on the demo page.

To make your sitemap page looks more stunning you can add further customisations. Tweaking the CSS and changing the colour.

As for options like hiding the sidebar, page title and adding your own custom title, you will need some Blogger template editing skills and a mastery of the Blogger conditional tags.
