• Extract the archive containing the template XML code and then right-click on the XML file and open with Notepad++.
• Next, head to Theme > Edit HTML.

• Delete all the template code for the old theme.
• Now, copy all the contents of the new theme and paste in the Blogger template editor (after deleting old template code).
